Collaborating Milos
This term, our 2nd and 3rd Class STEM groups have been working with the Lego WeDo sets. They’ve really enjoyed building their own robot, Milo, and in their most recent project, they combined two robots to navigate obstacle courses. Watch the video to see how they did it.
3D Model Key Chains
Our 5th and 6th Class STEM groups have been busy this term! Over the past few months, they’ve been designing their own 3D model keychains on a program called Tinkercad and had them printed out using a 3D printer. We’re all delighted with the results.
Trinity Week Finale
Today Trinity Week came to an end and what an amazing week of celebrations it was. We are CARING, we are INCLUSIVE and we are INNOVATIVE. We finished up with an assembly in C3 which saw Ms Lydons class complete the final lap of our walk to Tokyo. This tied in perfectly with Tuam Camogie Clubs initiative “Walk for Pieta” to raise money for Pieta house. And continuing with our celebrations of all things Trinity Primary School Ms. Lally’s class performed our Trinity Dance for the whole school, followed by our school chant performed by Ms. Kelly’s class. Our student council concluded our Trinity Week Assembly with a heartwarming speech about their time in our school
WE ARE INNOVATIVE!

From working virtually/on-site with Designer Minds, Boston Scientific & Maynooth University, not to mention trying out Beebots, STEM activities, lighthouse circuits, Izak 9 and Lego! What a hands on day 🙌🏼 Thank you @galwayeducation @lego @designer_minds @izak9maths @maynoothuni @bostonsci for your time and resources 😄
