A Day in Ms Fitzpatrick’s 2nd Class 🌟 We’ve had a A Day in Ms Fitzpatrick’s 2nd Class 🌟

We’ve had a very busy and exciting day in our classroom!

We recited the poem “What the Robin Told” 🐦

In Art, we made lovely clay hearts for Valentine’s Day ❤️
During music, we practised our tin whistles and played “Happy Birthday to You” 🎶🎂.
Sa Ghaeilge, d’imir muid cluiche “Deir Ó Grádaigh” agus rinne muid obair bheirte 🇮🇪

In SESE, we have been learning all about spring 🌸. Today, we discussed ways we can care for our local environment and then did some “spring cleaning” around the yard using our litter pickers 🌍♻️.

In Maths, we are learning how to tell the time using both analogue and digital clocks 🕰️. We even made our own clocks!

We also enjoyed some singing and learned the song “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” 🎵.

Finally, we have been working very hard with Ms McGovern during station teaching on our narrative writing ✏️📚. Today, we proudly presented our stories to the class!

What a fantastic and productive day in 2nd class! 🌟

All three volleyball teams carried themselves with pride and represented TPS exceptionally well. They displayed impressive skill and resilience while facing tough competition. Each team won some of their matches, and one of the girls’ teams advanced beyond the group stage to qualify for the semi-final. They fought valiantly but lost to a strong St. Ita’s side from Loughrea. They should be very proud of their efforts. 👏 🏐
