After the girl’s great showing in the FAI soccer tournament on Monday, today was the turn of our boys teams! Basked in the glorious sunshine our two teams headed to Mervue United’s soccer pitches to compete against other teams across county Galway.
After being placed in an incredibly tricky group, our B team performed fantastically and finished with two wins and two losses whilst scoring an incredible twenty goals across their 4 fixtures. The team finished 3rd in their group and played some great soccer throughout. Our A team also had a very successful day and finished the day unbeaten, winning three and drawing one, meaning they finished top of their group and qualified for the Connacht finals in May.
Both team performed superbly throughout and were a credit to Trinity. Next up, the Connacht finals!
