The boys and girls of 6th class have completed their stage one, off-road cycle training with Cycle Right. During the 4 week course the children undertook core bicycle-handling and road-skills training. They learned how to make safe turns at junctions including shoulder checking and signalling. The importance of helmet wearing and obeying the Rules of the Road were stressed. We hope that now they will be responsible and safe on our roads during the sunny summer months which we are expecting!
