History was made today by our legendary Katie Railton as she became the first EVER TPS u12 girl to win a NATIONAL medal

.Katie created new PBs for herself in both the 100m I.M. and the 50m breast stroke, but it was the latter that bagged her the silverware.
Katie was placed third after the heats but fought exceptionally hard in the final to place second overall and claim a Silver medal.
Everyone in TPS is so proud of Katie’s AMAZING achievement. All her hard work and early morning starts with Tuam Swimming Club are paying off and we have to acknowledge the additional coaching by TPS staff member, Celia Davin, which was much appreciated by us all- a perfect example of a community effort
